President and owner, Amy Burkett, AIA, founded the firm in 1990 and offers more than 25 years of experience. She has been responsible for award winning projects both nationally and internationally, and previously served on the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce Board, Colorado Academy, the board of March of Dimes and Metro Denver Economic Development. She has participated in 3 leadership exchange (LEX)trips through the Denver Leadership Foundation. Recognitions include listings in the top 8 Denver Power Architects, the top 25 Denver Area Architecture Firms and the top Women Owned Business published through the Denver Business Journal.

Prior to starting BURKETTDESIGN, Amy worked for large, national design firms as a key designer on national projects. She is currently involved as principal designer on many projects, and maintains a strong presence in other selected projects. She was awarded the “Outstanding Woman in Business – Professional” by the Denver Business Journal and the firm is also ranked #31 for Top 100 Women Owned Businesses.
