The Brocade Corporate Campus, located at the southwest edge of the city of Broomfield, is the culmination of seven years of planning in conjunction with the evolution of a fast growing company. The Corporate Campus is a stand-alone development within a larger 380-acre development. At full build-out there are nine buildings, incorporating engineering, product development, manufacturing, and corporate administrative facilities. The total project consists of approximately 1,360,000 square feet of interior space.

Planned in the development are campus maintenance facilities as well as a Central Mechanical Plant, which serves and provides redundancy for all the campus buildings. Extensive efforts were made to accommodate the established paths of wildlife across the site as well as augmentation and maintenance of existing wetlands areas.

The project was phased in a manner that conceptually supportsed a new building coming on line every nine months. This concept led to a very forward thinking approach to infrastructure design and systems evaluation, which supported its rapid growth.
